The best advice for small businesses, that I might just give you: There is a big difference between a “good” small business, and a “big” one.
A good small business entrepreneurs react to changes in their environment or in industry. A large contractor does not respond, because they can see the future.
This means that not call Robert Zemeckis to a “large” companies.
So who is Robert Zemeckis? It is not, as far as I know, small business owner, and chances are you’ve never heard his name. But you probably know his work.
He is the director of several notable films, including Back to the Future trilogy. It is generally considered a great director and a creative thinker in the film industry.
Why is it not a great entrepreneur? Simple. He has no crystal ball.
Not too long ago, I decided to look back to the Future II with my children. I loved this film grew up and I thought my kids would love it too.
In this movie, Marty McFly travels to the future, and gets to hover-board travel, flying cars driving around, and see his future and his family.
I loved the creativity in this film – the hover tips were great, the robot was back-straightening dream toy a chiropractor, and do not want a flying car? It was pretty funny to see this show again, after almost 20 years, and I thought the director did a good job to dream about the future …
… And Marty McFly took a phone.

What? Picked up a pay phone? With all the marvelous things the guy crazy thought – hoverboards and flying cars and robot maids and dehydrated pizzas – he could not imagine something sensitive and convenient as a mobile phone?
Surely it could not imagine that the phones would have overhauled in 2015 … because, well, they are about. (When was the last time for a pay phone was going?)
Good hell, presented the writers of Star Trek “communicators”!
Of course, Robert Zemeckis could be a future imaginary country – but he had no crystal ball to him the future. He dreamed of a bunch of crazy inventions that are not practical – but not as a great invention that would revolutionize our lives (and imagine what is more mystery – it is something that we were actually the technique, when the movie was filmed)
Robert Zemeckis does not seem to call it in him to be a “great” company. He has no crystal ball.
And you?
The largest industry-changing innovations and advancements have from people who clearly could come look at the future. These innovators (the GREAT and entrepreneurs in general) can see what is around them, and ask you something better – and then create what you imagine!
And a lot of crystal ball-bearing entrepreneurs and small business owners have a wealth of quick action if these innovations are made only gradually take shape. (Here’s a tip big business is small – the runner in front of the new innovations)
If you do not renew themselves, or to predict which innovations will change the way your customers think and behave, then you are in danger, like the typewriter craftsmen – that’s over.
The market is changing and evolving every day. Here are three recent innovations that change the world now. These are movements that stick. These are innovations that also require you to change your operating system strategies and marketing plans. These innovations are a small business owner, you can not afford to ignore.
First The tablets are the new laptops.
You may have noticed these gadgets a new genre called “pills” have. Apple popularized the idea, recognize, and how this revolutionary product, Samsung and others quickly jumped on the train. People have already started to wear them around as the day-planner. They completely replace all the peoples pockets. And only a matter of time before laptops (and maybe desktops), and how we “love” to know them obsolete.

If you are in consumer electronics in the industry, then you are already a storage form of tablets that you can get your greedy little fingers. But you might want to consider the amount of your order on laptop – unless you want on your “door clearance perpetual” next to your portable CD players and Polaroid film.
But there are many ways you can capitalize on the popularity of other industries. For example, if you armed your sales force with tablets? Your company would (there is still much to gain from this distinction) as the front runner to be advanced. In addition, these devices have excellent presentation skills and clever little applications – improving your overall level of professionalism.

Advertising on mobile is different from the standard Internet advertising – and the public is growing much faster than the number of advertisers. If I could give one piece of small businesses in this article, it would be: learn to market your company on mobile devices!

Well, at the level of small businesses, “Going Green” movement is as much about public relations than anything else. PR is unusual for a company that cares about the environment and the conservation of natural resources – especially for a small business!
Imagine the positive PR that could generate if your computer repair crew sailed instead to the all-electric cars, gas guzzlers? What would the reaction be if your customer is the pizza to their door in a Nissan Leaf instead of a 1997 Corolla will be presented?
You can even continue to limit the green revolution a step further – by installing wind turbines or solar panels on the top of the building, or the delivery of electronic invoices (the added benefit of saving you some cold hard cash).
Here are three quick examples of important innovations are changing the entire market – and how daily business is conducted – a large scale. But revolutionizing everyday individual industries. Including your own.
To get your crystal ball and start trying to figure out where do these innovations, so that you can prepare. Or better yet, why not an innovator, you are yourself? After all, in business, it is always better to drive the reaction, the reaction to this will be forced!
